Bruno de Pigalle

Bruno de Pigalle – whose real name is Bruno Cuzzicoli – is no less than the first man to have officially tattooed on French soil. In the sixties, he opened a tattoo studio in Paris: unheard of at a time where there was still very little tattoos.

A few decades later, Sir Bruno is still viewed as a pioneer, a spiritual father to France’s tattoo artists. A guest at Cantal Ink 2014, he is the official sponsor of 2016’s festival and holds his place with pride among the honoured guests at the Chaudesaigues Award.
